MY THOUGHTS

Finally a domestic thriller that didn’t disappoint me!

I thought this book did a great job slowly building suspense. The twists were well-executed and timed perfectly so I didn’t see most of them coming. While this is not the most original thriller I’ve read, it still surprised me til the very last page. The good writing made this story stand out among of sea underwhelming thrillers, even if it did have some slow sections and unnecessary backstory.

I read this for a buddy read, and a lot of people in my chat did not like the epilogue, but I personally loved that final twist and thought it added new dimensions to the plot that brought the story full circle.

Although some aspects of this story were familiar, I highly recommend this to readers looking for a solid, suspenseful thriller.
